Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at https://pawsnclaws406.com/ and of the boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and related services provided by Paws & Claws Hotel & Spa (“we,” “us,” “our”). By booking a service, dropping off a pet, or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services

We provide overnight boarding for dogs and cats, daycare, grooming, and training, as described on our website and in the materials you receive at booking. Service availability, hours, and programs may change. We reserve the right to refuse or limit service to anyone for any lawful reason.

2. Booking, deposits, and payment

Reservations are confirmed when we receive the required deposit or payment, as stated at booking. Prices are listed on our website and may change without notice, but a confirmed reservation will be honored at the price quoted. You agree to pay all charges for services provided to your pet, including extras such as medications, treatments, late pick-up fees, and veterinary care authorized under Section 8.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellation and change requests must be made [number] hours before the scheduled start date to avoid a fee. Cancellations made later than that, and no-shows, may be charged [fee or percentage]. Deposits may be non-refundable. [Insert your full refund schedule here.]

4. Vaccination and health requirements

Every pet must be current on the vaccinations required for our facility before check-in. At a minimum, dogs must have current rabies, distemper/parvovirus (DHPP), and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines. Cats must have current rabies and FVRCP vaccines. [Adjust to your facility’s requirements.] Proof of vaccination, in the form of a veterinary record or official certificate, must be provided before the first visit and kept current. We may ask for additional proof or refuse admission to any pet whose records are incomplete or who shows signs of illness, parasites, or contagious disease. Pets that are ill or infested may be refused, and we may require you to collect them at your expense.

5. Drop-off, pick-up, and hours

Drop-off and pick-up must occur during posted business hours. Late pick-up is subject to a fee of [amount] per [time period]. If a pet is not picked up within [number] days of the scheduled end date and we have not heard from you, we may follow the emergency and abandonment steps in Section 8 and state law.

6. Behavior and temperament

Pets are housed and played with other animals, and we reserve the right to separate, restrict, or remove any pet at any time for safety or behavior reasons. You agree to tell us accurately about your pet’s temperament, including any history of aggression, biting, fear, or reactivity. If a pet’s behavior creates a risk to other pets, people, or our staff, we may require the owner to pick up the pet immediately, and we may decline future bookings. Owners are responsible for damage or injury their pet causes to people, other pets, or property, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Owner responsibilities and accurate information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information about your pet, including breed, age, medical conditions, medications, diet, allergies, and prior incidents. You must provide food and medications in labeled, measured quantities with written instructions. You must provide a current emergency contact and veterinarian contact for the duration of the stay. Pets must arrive on a properly fitted collar or harness with current identification tags. We may reject or modify a service if the information you give us is incomplete or inaccurate.

8. Veterinary care and emergencies

If your pet appears to be seriously ill or injured, we will try to contact you first. If we cannot reach you within a reasonable time, you authorize us to take your pet to [veterinary clinic name] or the nearest available emergency veterinary clinic and to consent to examination, treatment, and hospitalization that the veterinarian considers necessary. You agree to pay all veterinary and related costs, including emergency fees. We do not assume responsibility for the quality of veterinary care provided by third parties.

9. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

You understand that boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and exercise carry inherent risks, including injury, illness, stress, and escape, even when reasonable care is taken. To the fullest extent permitted by Montana law, you assume those risks on behalf of your pet and yourself. Paws & Claws Hotel & Spa will not be liable for injury, illness, death, or loss of a pet, or for loss of or damage to personal property, except where caused by our negligence or willful misconduct as determined under applicable law. Under no circumstances will our total liability exceed [the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim]. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, and in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. (Attorney review required for this section.)

10. Training programs

Training results depend on the dog, the owner, and consistent practice after the program ends. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, such as the elimination of a behavior. Owners are expected to attend scheduled sessions where required and to follow training instructions at home. Program fees are non-refundable once training has begun, except as described in our refund policy. [Describe your training methods and any equipment policy here.]

11. Photos, video, and social media

By booking, you agree that we may take photos and video of your pet while in our care for care, safety, and communication with you, such as sharing updates with you directly. We will not use images for marketing or publish them publicly without your separate written consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Website use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website to submit false or misleading information, upload malicious code, interfere with its operation, or collect personal information about others without their permission. We may suspend access for violations.

13. Intellectual property

You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, or resell it without our written permission.

14. Disclaimer of website information

Information on this website is provided for general guidance. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free. The website is provided “as is,” and we are not responsible for interruptions or errors in its operation. If we discover an error in pricing or service information, we may correct it.

15. Third-party links and services

Our website may link to third-party sites or tools. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or transactions. Your use of them is at your own risk.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Paws & Claws Hotel & Spa and its owners, employees, and agents harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your breach of these Terms, your pet’s conduct, or your violation of law.

17. Suspension and termination

We may refuse service, end a booking, or terminate access to our website if you breach these Terms, if your pet’s behavior or health creates a risk, or if you fail to pay amounts owed. Obligations that arise before termination, including payment, survive termination.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [County], Montana, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. [Optional: add an informal resolution step or arbitration clause after attorney review.]

19. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any booking agreement, waiver, or policy you sign or accept, form the entire agreement between you and us about the subject matter.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the changes. Terms in a signed boarding agreement or waiver for a specific booking may take precedence for that booking.
